Second Day offers employers several opportunities for collaboration:

Contribute to a career guide.

We have a growing library of career guides (you can check out the latest list here), and we rely on candid, constructive advice from social impact professionals to make them happen. If you would like to share your feedback on an existing career guide, contact us here. If you have an idea for a new career guide or other resource, feel free to let us know. Both are great ways to showcase your expertise and promote the work of your organization while supporting the next generation of social sector leaders.

Act as a mentor

We are always looking for mentors to support the students who are in our Community Scholars Program and Impact Fellowship (you can learn more about secondday.org). The goal of the Second Day Mentor Program is to create a structured space for students to learn more about your career journey while creating clear expectations and flexibility for the mentor. You can sign up to be a Career Coach and work with a student individually every 4-6 weeks or an Issue Area Expert and meet students for one-off conversations based on your availability

Hire a student.

The social sector needs short-term capacity support and long-term investment in diverse pipelines. We can help with both. Based on your needs and budget, we match you to vetted candidates for an internship at your organization through our Impact Fellowship. We require all interns be paid, and we provide additional weekly professional development sessions and mentorship. To learn more, go to our main website.
