Why does Second Day charge?

In order to sustain and build on this content, Second Day charges a small fee. Our hope is to make this free for students across the country through sponsorship from colleges, universities, career success organizations, or other partners. Second Day is a small nonprofit dedicated to democratizing this information, but we can’t do it without your help!

How to get free access

Become a Second Day Community Advocate.

Community Advocates work with the Second Day team to help spread the word about the Launchpad + advocate on behalf of their peers by championing more resources to go towards social impact career resources. The commitment is 1-2 hours per month, and you set your own projects. Learn more + apply below (rolling applications).

Apply for free access if you attend a two-year institution or are an FGLI student.

Too often, the ability to take a small salary or knowing the right people have been determining factors of 'making it' in social impact. In a small effort to counter this inequity, we are granting free access to students who meet at least one of the following criteria (1) currently attend a two-year college (2) are the first in your family to attend a four year college (3) come from a household with an income of less than $63k per year.

Did you know that the reason many students don’t know about social impact career options in college is because 70% of nonprofits don’t have a budget to compete with big name firms who throw tens of thousands of dollars at career centers.
